This updated version of new tools for 2026 includes Downie, CrowdParty, and the SideKick Platform. These hands-on training will teach you how to bring that same energy to your work with both in-person and virtual groups — no tech experience required!

Description:  This session is designed to empower participants to navigate and thrive in a diverse world.  In this session, participants will develop an understanding of cultural competence and gain tools to enhance their cultural competence skills. By the end of this session, participants will be able to:

• Apply practical skills to effectively communicate across cultures
• Navigate cultural challenges
• Contribute to creating a more harmonious and inclusive environment

 Description:  This session invites participants to move beyond comfort and familiarity toward growth, understanding, and connection. Through honest reflection, shared dialogue, and practical tools, participants explore how difference can strengthen relationships, teams, and communities. This workshop creates space to acknowledge bias, challenge assumptions, and build trust, equipping people to work, lead, and live better together. By the end of this session participants will be able to:

• Describe the link between comfort, discomfort, and growth.
• Identify personal comfort zones and “default circles” of familiarity.
• Name key barriers to embracing difference.
• Practice listening, curiosity, and courageous conversation skills.
• Build a personal commitment plan to apply Better Together principles in their context.

An educational 12-session series designed to help nonprofit executive directors and staff further define and refine goals and strategy before asking for necessary funding, first-time applicants are encouraged to take advantage of this opportunity.
