Before You Ask – Fall Mornings 2025

An educational 12-session series designed to help nonprofit executive directors and staff further define and refine goals and strategy before asking for necessary funding, first-time applicants are encouraged to take advantage of this opportunity. Fall 2025: 08/05/25 - 10/21/25.  TUESDAY mornings from 8:30 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. IN PERSON at the Foundation. Vaccinations required.

Description:  Mindset determines how we see ourselves, others, and the challenges we face.  In this LIFT session, we explore the impact of mindset on personal growth, team dynamics, and workplace culture.  Participants will examine the difference between fixed and growth mindsets, uncover the barriers to growth, and learn strategies to develop resilience, curiosity, and collaboration in their everyday lives. By the end of this session participants will be able to:

• Define fixed and growth mindset in both individual and team contexts.
• Recognize the three challenges to growth mindset: comparison, complaining, and criticism.
• Identify and develop growth mindset principles in their role, team, and leadership approach.
